I've hit a brick wall. Figuratively. It is 1:30 a.m. here. I am revising my research proposal and the ideas are there, but the words aren't coming out anymore. My vocabulary has never felt so inadequate. Perhaps it will be better after sleep, but I finally feel like I am on a roll with what I am trying to say.
My day was much more pleasant than my current predicament would imply. I slept in, I brunched. Glorious weather again, so I decided to take advantage and do a bit of walking. And by walking of course I mean shopping. This is the third time I have been to City Center and there are still so many stores I have yet to peruse. I indulged myself in a manicure, a new dress, and new earrings. There are huge open public spaces in this area of town. As it was Saturday, people were in abundance, and so were street musicians. All types of music: ethnic, soul, rap, acoustic, drums. You get the idea. I gave each a brief amount of attention and you know what I saw? Jesus. He is so popular here! Every artist was trying to persuade those around that the son of God is the answer to all their problems. Let me point out again that this is Saturday. I can't even imagine what it will be like tomorrow. And my demanding studies are not going to allow me to find out.

Cool. Leicester sounds like a great place. There aren't that many street musicians in Salt Lake City, as you know. Just wear a hexagram to ward off the do-gooders.
Have you found the Roman city yet?
After sleep, the words will come. Einstein always went to the zoo. Does Leicester have a zoo? But you have found the perfect antidote for an overfilled cranium: shopping!

Did you take a picture of the french nails?? I find it had to believe Vans has french nails. Sounds like a fun and relaxing way to spend the day. I do miss the hussle and bussle of shopping in crowds - crazy huh?
What is the temperature there? You are talking about beautiful days. Is it still very green there?
Is gellato (sp) an option?
