This isn't going to be a long post, I'm tired and not feeling well.
Today my mom, Kenn, and I traveled to Leicester by train. They wanted to see my university. It took about an hour and a half to get there, which wasn't bad. The city of Leicester is on a much larger scale than Lawrence. I liked the looks of the university, but we did not go as far as where I'll be living, which is in a different part of the city.
One thing I particularly liked about the campus was that the Archeology and Ancient History building is right across from the Chemistry building. Jamie, if you were here, we could go to class together and meet each other for lunch!
After going back into London in the late afternoon, we went to Harrods, a very expensive/famous department store. My mom did some Christmas shopping but I mostly just drooled. I did not see anything I absolutely had to have.
Tomorrow is the first day of my London Orientation, and I'll finally meet other students going to Leicester. Here's hoping I like them and vice versa.

you are great, i am jealous.
You went to Harrod's? That's so Parent Trap. In an awesome way.
I have some gossip for you, (about other people, naturally, not myself).
Post pictures sometime soon so that we can imagine you at school!
It's a beautiful day today-sunny and clear and only cool enough for a jacket in the shade. It has been getting down to 40 at night, which is excitingly close to freezing-no more mosquitos on our front porch!
Tell you mom and Kenn hello. I'm sending you a long hug through Google blogs. xo.
