Leicester: Day 7

Okay, I know I should be going out on pub crawls and what not, but I just had a really fabulously chill evening and I loved it. I've met so many new people in the last few days, it's just exhausting. A group of us, mostly Australian, decided to stay in. James and Stephanie, one of cutest couples I've ever met, have a big room in the Beaumont house. So we hung out there, drank a little, made some nachos, and others came and went as they pleased. The door was open, so we still met some new people. James bought a really nice acoustic guitar on accident, he doesn't do so well with the currency conversions, and we sang songs. It was great and no one seemed to mind the noise. Mostly because everyone was out somewhere else.

Rewinding to this morning. Registration was not so fun. I found out about some summer reading I could have been doing for my Romantics and Victorians English Literature class. Three novels: Tennyson, Wordsworth, Eliot. Anger. The Department Head seemed to think it was nothing for me to worry about, but we'll see. Then the Ancient History department was not so nice. Turns out the teacher of the class I signed up for is pregnant and not teaching the class anymore. So instead of Roman Forum history I'm going to take Sparta history. And they were mean! They seemed to have doubt that I would be able to keep up with a third year class since Ancient History is not the only thing I have studied. By the end of the term, they'll see what's up. I still have my Art History class to sign up for tomorrow, so hopefully that goes better.

I will do something interesting soon, I promise.
