I <3 Mondays @ Zanzibar!
My presentation in class yesterday went very well. It was a five minute oral on the poem 'In An Artist's Studio', and the teacher really liked how I pointed out Rossetti's ability to write expressively about the situations of others, especially those of her family members. I also drew comparisons to Blake and Tennyson, which got me huge bonus points. My speech was a little rushed and shaky, but being in a room full of third year English English students does that to me, they are all incredibly smart.
I met with my English professor yesterday and my Ancient History professor today about my essay topics, getting final approval, ideas for secondary sources, etc. I'll be diving into those tomorrow.
