Today was a much colder and rainier day in Amsterdam. I went to a museum called 'The Church in the Attic', located in the middle of the red light district. It's a museum that takes you through a Clandestine church built by a rich merchant in the 17th century when Catholicism was illegal in Amsterdam. An entire church in an attic, and it's much bigger than you would expect. It was neat.
Due to the cold misting I have spent most of today curled up with hot cocoa and Middlemarch. That book is so big that it's easy to reread. Hopefully the weather tomorrow will allow me to make the trip to the Rijksmuseum. We'll see.
